Smart Car Pickup Truck

smart car pickup truck
help!!! amp and sub question and smart techs or car audio guys out there?

so i am using my stock head unit because it has navigation ect....I hooked up a scoshe line out converter to my rear speakers, hooked that up with thick short rca's to a ma audio 700 watt rms competition amp,and that is hooked up to a single 12 in the new style ported box...this system pounded hard in my harley pickup.....but now after using the stock head unit and the line out converter, its just not hitting as hard as it should....am i just lacking volts going from my loc to my amp?? do i need 2 12's to move more air in the big suv?? The truck is a 2005 hummer H2..and ideas would be great

The converter's the problem. Get a new head unit with more outputs.

Had the same problem with my 02 GT Mustang with the factory Mach system. Had to use a converter...got very little bass. Got a new head unit with more outputs and now my mirrors are pretty much useless while driving due to the vibrations.

I have a single 500RMS 10" Alpine Type R in a ported BassWorx box hooked up to a 500RMS Alpine M500 amp and out hit most people with dual 10's and single 12's.
