I am a victim of interstate fraud. I was scammed out of $2500. How do I get it back?
I wired $2500 to a seller to buy a toyota camry. The seller lives in Utah. I never received the car. The guy took off with money. I called the police and they wont help me in fraud cases. After 3 months of distress and hard work I finally tracked down the sellers real address and real name who had stolen my money. Im thinking of buying a plane ticket out there to get him. How do i take him to small claims court when I live in florida? Or prove to the courts that this guy took my money? He may fly out of the country. How do I get my cash back? im pissed off! The law never helps victims of interstate theft!
Go to the FBI. They deal with interstate fraud/scam cases.
