How can I sell my 99 Mercury Tracer (running but not driveable) for the largest amount possible? Junk Yard?
Well, my car blew a headgasket and now has a rod knock, the exterior and rest of the motor are in pretty good shape. I want to sell it, maybe somebody can use it for parts, but I don't know where to go. A friend recommended Craig's list, but I'd like to know if there are more options. I also have a 90 Toyota Celica that I can sell for parts as well. Any ideas to how I can get the most money out of these cars? I need as much cash as I can get so that I can buy a new car, one that's driveable at least. Thanks!
they wont pay over 300 bucks for it at the most, they have a set price they will pay for it,you,ll be better off running an add in the local paper and selling it for parts that way ,an individual would pay more for it than a junk yard will pay, good luck on selling it.
