Anyone ever gone from a truck to a car?
I have a 4x4 pickup truck, that I like, but i'd like to get better gas mileage and i'm ready for a change. I really like the Scion TC and the 2005 model year is now in my price range, but I'm worried that i'll regret it if i get it. Whenever it snows, which is often, i have lots of fun in my truck, and sometimes i take it in the mud. But i think zipping around corners and stuff in a 5 speed TC would be the pros of a TC. has anyone ever gone from a pickup truck to a car? Do you miss the truck, or are cars cool?
Do what i did,buy both!!
You very may regret it,trucks are great in snow,off road which a car cant do ,its a big change i find.
What about a truck with a smaller engine,some newer trucks gas mileage is pretty good,where the truck loses its mileage is on the highway,especially if your truck is high off the ground with big tires.
Why dont you rent a car for a weekend,see if you like it,you might find the car very boring compared to a truck,the truck tends to command the road better,i tend to feel more safer and secure.
I was in a serious mva,my truck saved my life,the person that hit me had air bags,it was a head on collision,her little import was destroyed.
I find trucks to be safer because of the frame and more steel.
